ReVision: Art From the Unexpected is a week where creativity thrives on surprises, resourcefulness, and the thrill of turning “leftovers” into something extraordinary. Throughout the summer, our studio collects scraps, odd bits, found objects, and treasures rescued from the recycling bin — and this is the week they all get a second life. Campers become inventive problem‑solvers as they sift through an ever‑changing mix of materials, discovering how cardboard, bottle caps, fabric trimmings, broken toys, and mystery objects can transform into imaginative works of art. This week is all about seeing the world differently. Instead of starting with perfect supplies, students learn to embrace the unexpected: a bent piece of wire becomes the start of a sculpture, a pile of paper scraps becomes a textured landscape, and a discarded container becomes the foundation for a creature, invention, or abstract masterpiece. Campers explore mixed‑media techniques, assemblage, upcycled sculpture, and playful experimentation as they build projects that are as unique as the materials themselves. ReVision celebrates creativity without limits — a place where “What can I make from this?” becomes the spark for something brilliant. By the end of the week, artists walk away with inventive, eco‑friendly creations and a new appreciation for the hidden potential in everyday objects.
